Cold Sweat

"Influences: hate, greg ginn / black flag"

Black flag worshiping band from Seattle, WA. They play noisy, raw and really angry oldschool hardcore punk. They were formed 2001, broke up 2004. Members are now to be found in bands such as Walls, Country Club, Men's Interest and more. I think this is everything they released.

Bruce Banner

One of Sweden's finest. Here's Bruce Banner from Stockholm. They existed from early 2000 'til 2007 and they played fast, thrashy, chaotic hardcore/powerviolence/grindcore/crust/noise... or something. Pure awesomeness.
With members from legendary swedish hardcore acts such as Filthy Christians, DS-13, ETA and Protes Bengt.

Siege

Siege was an underrated hardcore/grindcore band from Weymouth, MA, existing from 1983 - 1985. They were without doubt the fastest band in 80's hardcore. Main influence for grindcore. For all of you who are still sleeping on this; GET INTO IT.

Deep Wound

Deep Wound was a hardcore band formed in 1982 in Westfield, MA. They played fast, angry and at times noisy hardcore. They are, along with Siege, considered to be one of the main inspirations for something that would be called grindcore. They disbanded in 1984 and had band members from Dinosaur Jr. and Sebadoh.

United Mutation

United Mutation was a hardcore band from Washington DC. They existed from 1981 to 1987 and I think they did some reunion shows afterwards. They were definatly one of the most odd hardcore bands of their time and they had a raw punk 'n' roll sound with creepy vocals. Old school hardcore from hell.

Charm City Suicides

This is some oldschool shit right here from Baltimore, Maryland. I'm not sure how to describe them. Kinda hardcore, kinda screamo. Noisy? It's awesome anyway.

SQRM

SQRM is a hardcore band from Western Massachusetts whose music is made from a thousand different influences or none at all. Listeners are whipped by the snottiest of snotty punk vocals, they are drudged through three-minute tracks of droning, heavily bent guitar strings, they are stormed by weirdo thrash riffs. With members from Aerosols.

Raw Nerve

Raw Nerve is a band from Chicago. They play fast and awesome hardcore in the Youth Attack! style. It is hard to hear the hidden awesomeness in this horrible sounding demo though. It sounds like it's been recorded on a mobilephone or an mp3.

Nazti Skinz

Nazti Skinz’ brilliant concept consisted of four talented and well known personalities who only wanted to play five shows, write six songs, and release 500 copies of a crummy looking record. This, they thought, would safely undercut the probability of ultimately sucking as most bands do. As a result, they cashed all their chips in here and recorded the most brilliant single nobody’s ever heard.

Half Man

Half Man was a mid-90's hardcore/punk rock band from Long Island, NY. They sounded oldschool but still not and they somehow remind me of Give Up The Ghost. As the time went on the band changed sound a bit into emocore direction. Still awesome.
