McCruelty: I'm Hatin' It--Learn More.

"cool that you put this up here. the problem is, however, that PETA supports welfarist measures. with a campaign like this, they send the message that it is acceptable for us to enslave or kill chickens as long as they die a "less brutal" death.

but how can we justify any murder? it's not the way we torture and kill, it's the fact that we do that is to be considered unethical. every animal, no matter how small, can feel pain and fear, can suffer and want to live in freedom. all of us have the same interest in life, no matter wheter we're pigs, chickens, cows, dogs, fish, cats or humans. that makes us equal. discriminating an animal (and as a result of this, exploiting him or her) for being not human is no different from racism, sexism or classism. this form of discrimination is called speciesism and from childhood on, they forcefeed us to think like this.

we have to break free from the traditional thinking that it is acceptable to exploit others for whatever reason. animals are not to be used as resources or slaves, and we can have an immediate effect in this by choosing not to partake, by going vegan.

until all are free!"

I agree to a 100%, man. I am glad that you wrote this and I hope that people will one day share this philosophy.

With this post I was just trying to "get the word out there", raise awareness. I want all of the meat-eaters that download from this blog to take a good look at themselves and at this world. I want them to start thinking with their brains, not their bellys.
